Name of the Temple
The name Wu Hai Lung means nameless or formless black dragon. The reason for this, is that any "form" or "style" taught herein does not conform to any one known style of martial art, or way of meditational practice, or esoteric rite. Much like the well known author and Grandmaster Ashida Kim (whom I quote from heavily in some portions of this site, thank you Ashida-san, your work is a boon to all who know it) and the "style" he calls Mugei-Mumei no-jitsu, or 'no name, no art', The Wu Hai Lung Temple is not here to teach any one set way of doing things. Rather, not only do we teach what we know, but we learn from others as well as we are open to new ideas. Further, as representing a new form of Taoism, blended with certain aspects of Buddhist rites, especially those from Tibet, a certain "formless form" becomes apparent in its somewhat eclectic origin. These teachings are gathered from what I have experienced over the past 24 years of my life, as of this year of 2007. I share them freely, with no requirement of purchase or membership, but in the spirit of brotherhood and good will.Location
Dayton, Ohio- Currently no actual physical temple exists, this is the beginning vestiges of the temple, in the form of the teachings the Wu Hai Lung Temple wishes to disseminate. As funding and land becomes available, a temple complex will be built and consecrated. We pray for Quan Yin's mercy in granting us what we need to build the temple.
