Kusari-Fundo
This Japanese weapon has its origins with the mystic Ninja of Japan. Highly concealable, and capable of not only inflicting great pain and damage on an opponent, but also the advantage of blocking a blade, or tying up an opponent. A smaller cousin to the Manriki-Gusari, this weighted chain weapon measures at 30" overall, with 24" of chain between the weights. Tekko Kagi
The Tekko Kagi, also known as the tekagi or simply tekko, is a devastating claw weapon that was used primarily in combat, to rake, stab, smash, slash and disarm a sword weilding attacker. With little to no practical use for climbing, the tekko kagi was a true battlefield or close combat tool. Measuring over 12" in length from the base band to the extreme tips of the tekko, this hand forged weapon is ready for use out of the box. Hand made by Adam Davis according to historical drawings and examples, claws are forged and heat treated 1075 spring steel, with 1018 mild steel bands and rivets. Sold in pairs only. Available with the 'traditional' blackened oil coating (shown), or with DuraCoat MIL SPEC coatings in many colors, including flat black. Please note which style you would prefer when ordering. Shuko
Created for climbing and fighting, and found in many different designs, the shuko is a well known and infamous weapon of the ninja, or shinobi no mono, as some prefer to be called. This design is based on the favored design of the Togakure ryu of ninjutsu. Built to take years of punishment and hold even the biggest practitioner's weight, these shuko will be up to the task for generations of use. Hand forged and welded solid steel construction, with propery riveted leather connecting straps secured with solid copper rivets, each set is personally hand crafted by Adam Davis to your specifications. To get your measurement for sizing your shuko, measure around the thickest part of the palm, just aove the thumb, and add 1/2" (1.25 cm) to that length, so there is some room for movement, and if you are wearing light gloves, or the traditional tekko hand/forearm covering. Width of the hand band is 1 3/4", the wrist band is 1" wide, and a little over 4" in diameter. Claw length is slightly over 1 1/2", and welded from both sides of the band for extra strength. Fully heat treated and oil coated for a durable traditional finish. Leather is hand dyed genuine top grain 6 ounce cowhide, vegetable tanned, for toughness. Yawara
This Japanese weapon is the smallest of the stick type weapons. It is easily concealed on one's person, and can be used to attack pressure points and other "soft spots" on the human body, and works as an effective fist load. Our design borrows from the design of the "vajra" or "thunderbolt" design of religious artifacts used by Buddhist monks, which were sometimes used as weapons in actuality as well. With one rounded end and one flattened cone end, the options for striking and applied level of force are increased as well, in addition to making a handy fist load. Hand turned personally by Adam Davis from solid red oak and clear lacquered, each one will vary slightly, and can be painted other colors if desired for camouflage or preference purposes.

Single Prong Kaginawa (Climbing Hook)
Used by many cultures both as a tool for moving and loading cargo from ships and into store houses, or as a tool for castle breaking in climbing the walls of a keep, the climbing, or grappling hook has been around for millennia, it is no wonder that it made its way into the arsenal of the Vagabonds of China, and the Ninja of Japan. This is the simplest, and thereby, the most compact version of the kaginawa, with only one point or prong. It also makes a handy and vicious weapon in its own right when swung or used close in. Hand forged point and curve with a hand forged and welded loop to withstand decades of use from 1/2" diameter steel bar. Personally hand crafted by Adam Davis, each one will vary slightly in appearance as they are made by hand. Capable of supporting over 350 pounds with the load placed on the tip of the hook, will support much more if the curve of the hook is supporting the weight. Available with or without 1/2"black nylon braided rope (16 feet).

The "Oni" Utility Kunai
The "Oni", the legendary demons and ogres of Japanese Myth, lie closely associated with the shadow realms of the Ninja as well. What better name to give then, for what is the all around toughest and strongest hand made kunai you will ever come across! Meant to deal out punishment as well as absorb it, the Oni Utility Kunai will make short work of roots and branches with its axe sharpened edges, and is thick enough to absorb the shock of chopping, digging, or if needed, throwing as well. Personally hand crafted by Adam Davis from 1075 Spring Steel with a 54-55 Rc hardness to allow for easy re-sharpening (if nicked on a stone or other hard object without fear of chipping) and engraved with a classic style Noh Theater Oni Mask, this demon will help you get through whatever sort of "hell" you are going through! The Tambo
From Indonesia and the arts of Pentjak Silat and Kuntao, comes this simple, but deadly effective weapon known as the Tambo. Commonly found in lengths from 12 to 18 inches (this version is 14"), these dagger shaped wooden weapons are used in a similar manner as a yawara, but with the larger size, have an enhanced abilty to inflict deeper tissue damage, with the ability to tear soft tissues and rupture organs if struck properly, or crush and slash with the sides of the "blade" portion of the weapon. The idea for this weapon, historically, is loosely based on the design of a traditional hair piece of the Indonesian people. Hand crafted from solid 3/4"thick red oak personally by Adam Davis and is available in either dark walnut stain or black, it also is suitable for a practice dagger for beginners in the blade arts.

"Maximum Impact" Tonfa
The Tonfa is a weapon that is common to both Okinawa and Japan, as well as having its own counterpart in China. Our version, personally hand crafted by Adam Davis from solid red oak with hand turned red oak handles, these tonfas are ready to take as much punishment as they are capable of dealing out. Features include the flat sides with rounded corners for dealing out heavier blows and more mass to stop an opponents weapon, and angled ends to allow deeper penetration of thrusts with the ends. Japanese Jitte
The Jitte (or for some, Jutte) is a weapon that developed from the Tessen, or Iron Fan style truncheon. This type of truncheon was designed to aid in stopping a sword wielding opponent from using his weapon, as well as being a highly effective impact weapon in its own rite. The curved spike on the side served to hook and trap the opponents blade by giving the jitte a twist to one side or the other, allowing the user to close with another weapon, or to disarm the sword user. Presumably, the heavy shaft could also severely damage or even break a sword if given a hard enough blow to the flat of the blade. Used most widely during the Edo Period during the Tokugawa Shogunate, this was often an "issue weapon" of local "police forces" in Edo Period Japan. The Shinobi-kama
This kama was designed with all of the best aspects of what a kama should be capable of, in mind. The full tang construction of the 8" blade, extends over 6" into the handle, and is securely bolted in place in the 18" solid red oak handle. The solid steel tang bolster is cut out on the back side, not just for asthetics, but to make the whole kama lighter and better balanced in the hand. The notch at the crook of the kama blade, is intended for catching the edge of another weapon (presumably a sword) and trapping the blade, and with enough pressure, snapping the opposing blade is a simple matter. the medium curvature of the blade lends itself to devastating cutting power, while retaining the piercing capability of other combat-built kama with straight blades. Traditional Kama 2
Based on an actual historical example, comes this great combat kama! From the tip of the blade, down to the tri-fluted pommel end of the tang, this solid piece of hand forged 1075 sprring steel is all business. The straight blade is set at a 90 degree angle to the tang, which is pierced at the bend of the blade, and at the pommel end, to accept t he included chain and weight for use as a kusarigama. Kyoketsu Shoge Style 1
This is the first in a line of different styles of kyoketsu shoge that we will be offering to our customers. This style is based on a form of shoge that seems to be popular among a number of ryu, including the Bujinkan dojos. This shoge is hand forged from a solid piece of 1075 spring stee, and fully heat treated. The grip is wrapped with 550 Paracord for a secure grip, the doulbe edged dagger blade is fully sharpened, while the hooked blade is beveled, but left unsharpened, and at the customers discression as to whether it is left unsharpened or not. The shoge comes with 14' of 1/2" black nylon rope, standard, attached to a standard round cross section ring. Other styles of rings are available, upon request, and chain is available upon request. Please note, different rings and chain, are an additional cost. KSHOG-01 $85
Kakute
The kakute, a deceptively simple, yet insidiously effective device. Primarily used in jujutsu and hojojutsu, it has also found its uses in ninjutsu, as a 'compliance inducing device', when employed in the many painful holds that can be applied to the different pressure points of the body. Add to this the cord used in hojojutsu, and you have quite a devastating combination. With eight styles to choose from, you can't go wrong! 1 1/8" inside diameter to fit virtually any size finger or thumb, as the need arises. Styles B and G have pre-pierced holes for hojojutsu cords to be inserted and tied to the kakute. Get a number of these, and y0u can get your 'point' across to your training partners!
